GLL Episode 1011

CLL #1011 (feat. Sevendust)

08/15/1999 – Sunday Night Show

Source – Unknown Boston Tape (Pre-2008) with a Tobydog Tape (2008) Patch

This is a new export of the Boston tape, the Tobydog Tape had a horrible background shimmering noise and was skipped over, there is some warbling in the Boston tape but the fidelity is vastly superior. The episode has a rough start due to some microphone issues across the board, most listeners found the band to be surprisingly fun guests. Drew is fairly out of it during the episode, with some emergency at home or something going on distracting him. This episode is 100% complete with no missing content.

From WikiSevendust is an American alternative metal band from Atlanta, Georgia, formed in 1994 by bassist Vince Hornsby, drummer Morgan Rose and guitarist John Connolly. After their first demo, lead vocalist Lajon Witherspoon and guitarist Clint Lowery joined the group. Following a few name changes, the members settled on the name Sevendust and released their self-titled debut album on April 15, 1997. They have attained success with three consecutive RIAA gold certified albums, a grammy nomination, and have sold millions of albums worldwide.

The self-titled album sold 311 copies in its first week.[1] However, through touring and TVT support, the album gained charting success through Billboard and earned a gold certification. Since formation, Sevendust has released ten studio albums, earned additional charting success and gold sales certifications. They have also re-released their self-titled album as Sevendust: Definitive Edition which contains five new tracks and a DVD.[2]
