This is the “new” style of Best Of that Loveline would present when the show’s staff were on vacation and for holiday breaks. The show starts out with the same intro from #761 and then goes into the first segment with guest Rod Stewart from a lost 1997 or 1998 appearance on the show, Rachel Hunter was watching or off mic in the studio, perhaps joining them on air at some point as well. Next up is Jon Stewart from CLL #341 which aired on 01/19/1997. The third segment with the band Fastball from CLL #631 the night Adam decided on a female listener to drive him to the airport the next morning, this may be a lost clip that didn’t air in the version played prior that needs to edited back into the show. Then we have CLL #697 from 06/01/1998 with Guest Kathy Griffin. Next, we have a clip with P-Nut from 311 from a lost episode that Adam says was recorded about 6 months prior to this. Possibly episode #641 from 03/15/1998. The final segment is from CLL #515 with Fiona Apple which was recorded on 09/18/1997 and aired in the old feed as well.
