An episode that was first shared over 18 years ago, now remastered. Seth Rogen is making his first of two appearances on CLL, Busy is returning for her follow up appearance with several more to come. They’re on the show in an effort to save ‘Freaks and Geeks’ which had just been cancelled. They prove to be a dynamic on air duo, a true sleeper classic episode with a terrific one time only booking of Seth and Busy together. Sorry there wasn’t a lost tape to replace this one, I tried really hard to manifest one into existence to no avail.
From Wiki: Freaks and Geeks is an American teen comedy-drama television series created by Paul Feig and executive-produced by Judd Apatow that aired on NBC during the 1999–2000 television season. The show follows gifted high schooler Lindsay Weir, who befriends a gang of slacker “freaks”, and her younger brother Sam, as he and his geek friends navigate high school. Eighteen episodes were completed, but the series was canceled after only 12 had aired.[1] A fan campaign persuaded NBC to broadcast three of the remaining episodes in July 2000, with the rest of the unaired episodes airing that fall[2] on Fox Family Channel.[3]
The series has appeared in numerous lists of the greatest television shows of all time, including lists by Time, Entertainment Weekly and TV Guide. It launched several careers of its young actors, such as James Franco, Seth Rogen, Jason Segel, and Linda Cardellini into successful acting careers.[4]
