LLT Summary from UP or myself nearly a decade ago:
Adam talks about the “heterosexual flag” that a fan sent in. It is like the gay flag (Jolly Roger) but for straight people.
A caller answers the phone by saying “ya, hey.” Adam mentions that he is 1⁄4 black stool Indian, sort of like Chief Thunderbear. The caller lives in a Jehovah Witness’s family. Adam comes up with an idea for a bumper sticker that would read “You can’t say Jehovah without Ho.”
What happens next is pretty bizarre. After the 10 second time, out, Adam and Drew discuss a complaint they got from an angry affiliate, KSOB about the way they handled a call in a show a few nights ago. A tape of this show was lying around and they listen to it on the air. Producer Ann explains the caller was raped and needed to reported it as a crime.
The tape is played and it sounds like a regular LoveLine call. They even tell her it was rape. It turns out this call was the source of the dad in Israel drop. Adam yells to stop the tape all of a sudden when the girl said “What’s my dad doing in Israel.” The Pietasters were the guest that night.
Adam describes engineer Mike’s place as a headshop with two army cots tied together to sleep on.
Caller Johnny is a girl but Adam thinks it’s a guy. He asks him(her) about the Behymen and she still plays along as if she were male.
Adam talks about going to the shrink. He thinks the shrink should be paying him because he’s so entertaining when he goes there.
Adam talks about being hip to John Hiatt. Leaving a couple of his CD’s around will even make it seem like you’re hip.
Some annoying guy starts rambling about Mr. Birchum and Adam hangs up on him.
