Drew tells Adam and Sharon about watching the 1998 Soap Opera Digest Awards which aired on February 27th 1998. Adam goes on a jag about Susan Lucci and her record setting number of nominations without a win. Sharon mentions the upcoming 25th anniversary of ‘The Young and The Wrestless’ which was March 26th 1998. Adam goes in depth on a recent episode of ‘Melrose Place’ with a helicopter accident related coma he watched with Lynette. A 1998 MTV Spring Break Promo helped triangulate the date, it said the coverage begins this weekend, meaning 03/13/1998. Dr. Drew tells the “Coolidge Effect” story. Dr. Drew has to bail early and Adam tells Sharon about the one time his mom fed the kids “weeds” like the kind growing by the jungle gym. From Wiki Sharon Case (born February 9, 1971) is an American actress and former model. At the age of 17, Case began working as a model, relocating briefly to Japan, before pursuing an acting career. She is best known for her roles on daytime television soap operas, scoring parts in the serials General Hospital and As the World Turns during the early stages of her career. In 1994, she stepped into the role of Sharon Newman on the CBS daytime soap opera The Young and the Restless, which she still plays presently. Case, who is considered a leading actress for the series, won the 1999 Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series for her performance which has been met with critical acclaim.
